Privacy Policy

Skyward Federal LLC respects your privacy. We do not sell or rent visitor information, and we do not run advertising on this site. Most of the site is static and collects nothing. Three analytics and customer-relationship tools run on every page, two of which (Google Analytics and HubSpot) are outside services, and a fourth outside service (Teamtailor) receives your details if you apply for a job. What each one collects is set out below.

Contact form

If you submit the contact form, the name, email address, and message you provide are delivered to us by email and used only to respond to your inquiry. The name and email address are also recorded in HubSpot, our customer-relationship system, so that we can keep track of the conversation.

Analytics

We use three tools to understand how this site is used and to keep track of people who contact us.

Rybbit (self-hosted)

Rybbit is an open-source analytics tool that we host ourselves, on infrastructure we control. This data is not shared with an outside vendor.

• It records page views, the referring site, approximate location derived from your network address, and general device and browser type.
• It collects anonymous page performance measurements and JavaScript error reports so we can fix problems.
• Your IP address is not stored. It is used in transit to derive a coarse location and is then discarded.
• It sets no cookies. Repeat visitors are counted using a rotating daily identifier that cannot be used to track you across days or across other websites.
• Session recording is switched off. We do not record your screen, mouse movement, or keystrokes.

Google Analytics

We also use Google Analytics 4, which is provided by Google. Unlike the tool above, this means information about your visit is sent to and processed by Google, and is subject to Google’s own privacy policy and terms.

• It records page views and the pages you visit, the referring site, approximate location, and general device and browser type.
• It does set cookies in your browser (named _ga and _ga_<id>) so that returning visits can be recognised as the same browser. These persist until they expire or you clear them.
• Google receives your IP address in order to serve the request and derive an approximate location.
• You can opt out by blocking cookies for this site in your browser, by using a content blocker, or with Google’s official opt-out browser add-on.

HubSpot

HubSpot is the customer-relationship platform we use to manage inquiries. Its tracking code runs on every page, which means information about your visit is sent to and processed by HubSpot and is subject to HubSpot’s own privacy policy and terms.

• It records the pages you visit, the referring site, approximate location, and general device and browser type.
• It does set cookies in your browser (hubspotutk, __hstc, __hssc, and __hssrc) so that repeat visits can be recognised as the same browser.
• If you submit the contact form, the email address and name you give us are associated with that browser’s HubSpot identifier, so the pages you viewed before writing to us become part of your contact record.
• You can opt out by blocking cookies for this site in your browser or by using a content blocker.

Applying for a job

The application form on this site is ours, and what you submit is passed to Teamtailor, the applicant tracking system we use for hiring. Both of us therefore handle it, and we want to be exact about how.

• When you press Submit, your name, email address, phone number, CV and answers are sent to this website and forwarded to Teamtailor, which is where your application lives and where we read it.
• Our own handling is transient: the submission is held in memory only for as long as it takes to pass it to Teamtailor. We do not write your CV to storage, we do not keep a copy, and the contents of your application are never written to our logs.
• Teamtailor processes your data under its own privacy policy and terms, and holds the record of your application.
• The analytics and marketing tools described above are excluded from this form, so what you type into it is not captured by them.
• Nothing is sent anywhere until you press Submit. Reading a job description sends nothing.
• You can apply on Teamtailor’s own site instead if you prefer; every role links there.

Server logs

Standard web server and content delivery logs (network address, request path, user agent) may be retained for a limited period for security and operational purposes.

Security

This site is served only over HTTPS.
